David Landman, MBA
David is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics. Upon graduating from college, David joined the Commercial Leadership Program at GE Healthcare. After completing the GE Commercial Leadership Program, David took on an account manager role inside of GE Healthcare, where he was responsible for selling the GE Healthcare portfolio to clients in Michigan. David then went on to get his master’s of business administration at the University of Michigan, where he led the healthcare team of the Frankel Commercialization Fund. While at Michigan, David also co-authored a national award-winning business plan and subsequently helped launch AmbiqMicro, a venture-funded tech startup that produces the world’s most energy efficient microcontrollers.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, David went on to work at Medtronic Ventures, where he helped manage the internal venture portfolio and worked more specifically on new therapies to treat chronic kidney disease and congestive heart failure. Immediately prior to joining InvisionHeart, David worked for multiple Tristar Technology Ventures portfolio companies helping lead development and evaluation of early-stage medical device products.
